Cancellation policy
You can cancel your Payroll Africa subscription at any time. This policy explains how cancellation works and what happens to your data.
Cancel anytime
Payroll Africa is a pay-as-you-grow service with no annual contract. A company administrator can cancel the subscription from the Billing page in the app at any time.
Billing period
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of that period, and no further charges are made.
We do not provide partial refunds for unused days within a billing period.
Data retention
After cancellation, your company data is retained for 90 days in a deactivated state. During this window you can reactivate the subscription and pick up where you left off.
After the 90-day retention period, employee, payroll, payslip and audit data are permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention obligations.
Export before you leave
We recommend exporting payslips and payroll reports before cancellation. Once the retention period expires, data cannot be recovered.
Trial cancellation
If you are on a free trial and do not upgrade to a paid subscription, the trial expires automatically. No payment is taken and no cancellation step is required.
