Above the 200-employee tier you pay R4 182 plus a volume rate on every additional employee. Each band only applies to the employees inside it, so your average per-employee cost keeps falling as you grow.
Example: 1,000 employees works out to about R19 182 per month (R19 per employee). 5,000 employees is roughly R77 182 per month (R15 per employee).

Is there a setup fee?
No. Sign up and you're running your first payroll the same day.
Do I need a contract?
No. Pay monthly, cancel anytime from your account settings.
What counts as an employee?
Any person included in a payroll run in a given month. Terminated employees aren't billed after their last payroll.
Do you support multiple companies?
Yes. Each company is billed separately, but you can manage them all from one login.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
Nothing automatic — we don't hold a card. You choose a payment method when you're ready to continue, and your data stays exactly as you left it.
What if my headcount changes mid-month?
You're billed on the number of people actually included in that month's payroll runs, so seasonal and casual staff don't lock you into a bigger tier.
Is migrating really free?
Yes. We import employees, pay history and year-to-date totals from Sage, SimplePay, PaySpace, Crest or a spreadsheet at no charge, and you can run in parallel until the numbers match.
Can I get an invoice for my accountant?
Yes. Every payment produces a tax invoice you can download from Settings, and accountants can be given their own login to your company.
