    The written statement of earnings and deductions the employer must give every employee each payday (BCEA Section 33).

    Full definition

    Section 33 of the BCEA requires the employer to give each employee a payslip each time they are paid, showing employer details, employee details, period, ordinary hours, overtime hours, gross pay, each deduction, net pay and any leave taken.
