    Bank files & cash pay

Pay everyone correctly, by bank or by cash

Once a pay run is approved, Payroll Africa prepares the payment file for your bank so you don't retype account numbers. Employees paid in cash are kept out of the bank file and listed on a cash pay schedule instead.

    How it works

    1. 1

      Capture payment details

Record each employee's bank, branch and account number, or mark them as paid in cash.

    2. 2

      Approve the pay run

Net pay is calculated for every employee in the run.

    3. 3

      Download the bank file

Choose your bank's format and download a file ready to upload to online banking.

    4. 4

      Print the cash schedule

Employees marked as cash appear on a separate schedule with their net amounts for your cash agent.

    How it helps your business

    No retyping

Account numbers and amounts come straight from payroll, removing capture errors.

    Faster pay day

Upload one file instead of loading payments one by one.

    Cash staff covered

Cash-paid employees are never accidentally included in a bank payment.

    Country-aware banks

Bank choices are shown for your company's country, so formats match your bank.

Built around how African businesses pay

Many employers pay part of their team by bank transfer and part in cash or through an agent. Payroll Africa supports both in the same run, and keeps a clear record of who was paid how.
