API for Developers
Programmatic access to employees, payslips and reports.
Authentication
The API uses bearer tokens scoped to a single company. Generate a token under Settings → API and store it as a server-side secret — never in browser code.
Available resources
- Employees — list, create, update, terminate
- Pay runs — create, add inputs, finalise
- Payslips — list and download PDFs
- Reports — payroll summary, EMP201 totals, leave balances
Rate limits
Requests are limited per token per minute. Handle HTTP 429 responses with exponential backoff.
Webhooks
Subscribe to events such as run.finalised and employee.terminated to trigger downstream systems.
