Xero Integration
Connect Xero and push your payroll journal automatically.
Connecting
Go to Integrations → Xero and click Connect. You are redirected to Xero to authorise access, then returned to Payroll Africa.
Mapping accounts
Map each payslip item group to a Xero account: salaries expense, PAYE liability, UIF liability, SDL liability, net pay clearing and company contributions.
Pushing the journal
After finalising a run, click Push to Xero. A dated journal is created in draft or posted, depending on your setting.
Troubleshooting
- Invalid redirect URI — the app's redirect URL must be registered in the Xero developer portal
- Account not found — an account was archived in Xero; refresh the account list and remap
