Add, switch between and archive companies in one login.
Multiple companies on one login
Payroll Africa is multi-tenant. Accountants and bureaus can hold dozens of client companies under a single login and switch between them with the company selector in the top bar. Data is fully isolated per company at the database level.
Adding a company
Click Add company on the dashboard. You will capture registration and SARS details, then choose a pay frequency. Each company keeps its own employees, payslips, filings and billing.
User access per company
Invite team members under Settings → Team. Roles determine what they can see:
- Owner — full access including billing
- Payroll admin — full payroll access, no billing
- Viewer — read-only reports
- Employee — self-service only
Archiving a company
Archiving keeps historical payslips and IRP5 data available for the SARS five-year retention period but removes the company from the active billing count.
